Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long

This 2-day trip offers a glimpse into the agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region as we wind our way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. From our boats, we are able to closely observe the daily rituals of river life and participate in the bustling commerce activities as we buy our fruits from the floating market. Along the way, we will visit a orchard farm, handicraft village, and the land market abundant in colorful fresh fruits and vegetables.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long (Lunch & Dinner included)
Pick up at your hotel for a drive through the Mekong Delta to Cai Be floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maize of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. Stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, and to meet "Monty" before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Evening with a family that have their home built on stilts over the water.

Day 2: Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast included)
Am : Riverboats once more for a cruise to some floating markets and a handicraft village. Following these visits, drive to the town of My Tho, visit Dong Tam snake farm, Vinh Trang pagoda and a local market before our journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.
